Offline by Design
Local Password Vault is built to run completely offline. The app collects no personal data, sends no telemetry, and makes no network requests. Your vault file never leaves your device unless you decide to move it.

Information We Collect
We only collect what you provide directly:
– Your email address and details shared when you contact support or make a purchase.

We never sell, rent, or share this information except:
– With payment processors who complete your purchase under their own privacy terms.
– With law enforcement when required by a valid subpoena or court order.

Security
Your privacy and data security are central to how LPV is designed:
– The app never connects to the internet or any cloud service.
– No APIs, telemetry, analytics, or background services run in the software.
– Your vault is encrypted locally with your master password and stored only on your device.
– The master password itself is protected with multi-salt 64-bit encryption, making it virtually impossible to crack.

Customer Guarantee
Your data never leaves your computer. There are no hidden sync features, cloud dependencies, or remote storage. You remain in complete control.

We also secure our website and email systems using industry-standard protections. The vault itself can only be unlocked with your master password — which we cannot reset or recover for you.

Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes
We may update this policy. Updates will be posted on LocalPasswordVault.com with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use means you accept the new version.
